FULL THREAD CONNECTOR WITH COUNTERSUNK HEAD
VGS EVO
VGS EVO is the full thread structural screw for external use with countersunk head. Ideal for application on metal plates with countersunk holes, to achieve maximum strength, or in combination with the HUS EVO washer. The EVO coating makes it the ideal connector for applications with woods containing tannin or treated with impregnating agents or other chemical processes, and guarantees excellent tensile performance.
VGS EVO screws for timber, maximum diameter and length dimensions guarantee maximum mechanical performance for your outdoor connections.
The VGS EVO screw is approved for structural applications subject to stresses in any direction vs. the grain (α = 0° - 90°). It is the ideal connector for the construction of outdoor structures and for fastening aggressive woods containing tannin, for fastening Rafter and Trusses. Service classes 1, 2 and 3. The deep thread and high resistance steel (fy,k = 1000 N/mm2) ensure excellent tensile performance.
The values are also tested, certified and calculated for CLT and high density woods such as Microllam® LVL. VGS EVO, a carbon steel screw for timber, features 20 μm multilayer C4 EVO coating with a surface treatment of epoxy resin and aluminium flakes, which showed no rust after 1440 hours of salt spray exposure testing according to ISO 9227.
