CHARACTERISTICS

R60 is used for ground connections of columns, in the construction of canopies and other lightweight structures. It is suitable for solid softwood or hardwood, glulam, LVL columns.

The cylindrical holder with internal thread combines performance and clean design. The additional hole on the base plate allows simplified screw installation using a long bit.

INSTALLATION TIPS

Standard personal protective equipment, such as gloves and safety goggles, is recommended for the installation of the R60 height-adjustable post base. Ensure that the post base is fixed correctly and in a stable and level way before fastening it to the ground.

The height of the R60 post base is adjustable, allowing adjustments according to site change requirements or conditions, but only by rotating the column, which must therefore be free at the other end. The ground clearance is adjustable from 125 to 235 mm.

R60 is made of carbon steel S235 with Fe/Zn12c coating. It is designed for outdoor applications in service classes SC1 and SC2.

Although R60 is versatile and compatible with many types of timber, it is always a good idea to check with Rothoblaas' technical consultants for specific compatibility with the type of timber used and to ensure that the installation environment does not exceed the conditions for service classes SC1 and SC2.
