TITAN F

Among the angle bracket plates for timber, TITAN F is the most suitable for withstanding shear forces in timber frame construction. Made of bright zinc plated carbon steel, it is ideal for shear joints between floor and wall and between wall and wall.

TITAN F plate for timber with high shear strengths

The TITAN F angle bracket for timber is designed for fastening on platform beams or on the stringers of the frame structures. It is designed to offer two fixing possibilities, in order to avoid interference with the rebars in the concrete support.

Applications

Thanks to the low position of the holes on the vertical flange, the TITAN F angle bracket guarantees excellent shear strength values in all situations, even on low platform beams (up to 38 mm). R2,k over 40 kN on both timber and concrete. In combination with XYLOFON PLATE this angle bracket effectively limits acoustic bridges and reduces walking vibrations of timber floors, ensuring an excellent cost-performance ratio.

Thanks to the high shear strength of this angle bracket for timber it is possible to optimize the number of fastenings. In general, TITAN F angle brackets for timber are designed for timber-to-concrete and timber-to-timber shear joints for timber panels and beams on CLT, LVL, solid timber, glulam, framed structures and timber-based panels.
