VAPOUR CONTROL MEMBRANE
VAPOR 225
The VAPOR 225 vapour control membrane is the cost-effective membrane, ensuring high performance and protection against weathering. It is also suitable for installation on uneven and rough supports, which could damage lighter vapour control layers.
VAPOR 225, the most resistant vapour control membrane on the market.
Although the membrane is very thick and resistant, its composition ensures great flexibility in processing without the risk of material wear. The mass per unit area of the membrane provides mechanical strength and protection during construction; VAPOR 225 ranks among the strongest vapour control membranes on the market.
The TT version offers fast installation and professional sealing thanks to the integrated double tape. It is one of the products for which the EPD and LCA environmental declarations have been developed.

Indicazioni di posa per: TETTO
VAPOR 225 is placed parallel to the eaves line, starting from the lower edge of the roof. The second layer must be overlapped by at least 10-20 centimetres to the previous one (depending on the slope of the roof), as indicated on the layout according to UNI 11470:2013. The sheet must be applied on a continuous support with a mechanical fastening device. (ex: HAMMER STAPLER, HAND STAPLER o PNEU STAPLER). Once at the top of the roof, it is advisable for the membrane to protrude beyond the ridge line by at least 30 centimetres to ensure a perfect overlap with the strips of sheet that will overlap on the other side of the roof. It is also recommended that the sheets overlap by at least 30 cm even at the end joints. To achieve correct air and water sealing, we recommend the use of ALU BAND, SEAL BAND, EASY BAND, SPEEDY BAND, SOLID BAND, FLEXY BAND, SMART BAND, PLASTER BAND, DOUBLE BAND, SUPRA BAND, BUTYL BAND, MEMBRANE GLUE, SUPERB GLUE, ECO GLUE, FIRE SEALING, FIRE FOAM, FIRE STRIPE, FRONT BAND UV 228.If there is an integrated double adhesive strip, it can replace the correct air and water sealing.
Indicazioni di posa per: PARETE
VAPOR 225 is laid parallel to the dock beam or the floor if laid on a wall. The second layer must be overlapped by at least 15 centimetres. Each layer must be fixed to the substrate with a mechanical fastener. (ex: HAMMER STAPLER, HAND STAPLER o PNEU STAPLER). It is also advisable to overlap the sheets by at least 30 centimetres at the butt joints. In order to achieve correct air and water sealing, we recommend the use of ALU BAND, SEAL BAND, EASY BAND, SPEEDY BAND, SOLID BAND, FLEXY BAND, SMART BAND, PLASTER BAND, DOUBLE BAND, SUPRA BAND, BUTYL BAND, MEMBRANE GLUE, SUPERB GLUE, ECO GLUE, FIRE SEALING, FIRE FOAM, FIRE STRIPE, FRONT BAND UV 228 or in the case of rough surfaces (such as rough OSB) FLEXI BAND, PRIMER SPAY, PRIMER .
