VAPOUR CONTROL MEMBRANE WITH REINFORCING GRID
VAPOR IN NET 140
The VAPOR IN NET 140 vapour control membrane for controlling the passage of water vapour in timber structures and houses is the reinforced version of the VAPOR IN 120 membrane, the best seller in our range. It has the same functional film and the same non-woven fabric with the addition of a polypropylene reinforcing grid inside that increases its mechanical performance. It is ideal for frame systems.
VAPOR IN NET 140 vapour control membrane: perfect airtightness and great strength.
The VAPOR IN NET 140 vapour control membrane regulates the passage of moisture into the timber structure, preventing the formation of interstitial condensation within the insulation package and increasing the durability of the structure. VAPOR IN NET 140 is designed for indoor application.
The reinforcing grid offers great strength even in the event of pressure caused by the insulating material being blown, the installation of which gives rise to mechanical tensions that the reinforcement can compensate for, guaranteeing safe installation at all times. It is semi-transparent to simplify installation.
It is one of the products for which the EPD and LCA environmental declarations have been developed.

Indicazioni di posa per: PARETE
VAPOR IN NET 140 is laid parallel to the dock beam or the floor if laid on a wall. The second layer must be overlapped by at least 15 centimetres. Each layer must be fixed to the substrate with a mechanical fastener. (ex: HAMMER STAPLER, HAND STAPLER o PNEU STAPLER). It is also advisable to overlap the sheets by at least 30 centimetres at the butt joints. In order to achieve correct air and water sealing, we recommend the use of ALU BAND, SEAL BAND, EASY BAND, SPEEDY BAND, SOLID BAND, FLEXY BAND, SMART BAND, PLASTER BAND, DOUBLE BAND, SUPRA BAND, BUTYL BAND, MEMBRANE GLUE, SUPERB GLUE, ECO GLUE, FIRE SEALING, FIRE FOAM, FIRE STRIPE, FRONT BAND UV 220 or in the case of rough surfaces (such as rough OSB) FLEXI BAND, PRIMER SPAY, PRIMER .
Indicazioni di posa per: TETTO
VAPOR IN NET 140 is placed parallel to the eaves line, starting from the lower edge of the roof. The second layer must be overlapped by at least 10-20 centimetres to the previous one (depending on the slope of the roof), as indicated on the layout according to UNI 11470:2013. The sheet must be applied on a continuous support with a mechanical fastening device. (ex: HAMMER STAPLER, HAND STAPLER o PNEU STAPLER). Once at the top of the roof, it is advisable for the membrane to protrude beyond the ridge line by at least 30 centimetres to ensure a perfect overlap with the strips of sheet that will overlap on the other side of the roof. It is also recommended that the sheets overlap by at least 30 cm even at the end joints. To achieve correct air and water sealing, we recommend the use of ALU BAND, SEAL BAND, EASY BAND, SPEEDY BAND, SOLID BAND, FLEXY BAND, SMART BAND, PLASTER BAND, DOUBLE BAND, SUPRA BAND, BUTYL BAND, MEMBRANE GLUE, SUPERB GLUE, ECO GLUE, FIRE SEALING, FIRE FOAM, FIRE STRIPE, FRONT BAND UV 220.If there is an integrated double adhesive strip, it can replace the correct air and water sealing.
