MEMBRANE WITH VARIABLE VAPOUR DIFFUSION
CLIMA CONTROL 80
CLIMA CONTROL 80 is the membrane that controls variable water vapour inside timber structures.
It is one of Rothoblaas products tested by the PassiveHouse Institute as airtight certified components.
It is composed of a functional polyamide film with polypropylene reinforcement and is designed for application to roofs and walls on the internal side of the building envelope.
CLIMA CONTROL 80, THE PASSIVEHOUSE-CERTIFIED SOLUTION THAT CHANGES FROM A VAPOUR CONTROL TO A BREATHABLE MEMBRANE
CLIMA CONTROL 80 ensures a variable resistance to water vapour diffusion. It acts as a vapour control in low humidity conditions and as a breathable membrane in high humidity conditions.
If it comes into contact with a high amount of moisture, the membrane is able to change from a vapour control to a breathable membrane, ensuring that the building envelope dries out. This ability to regulate the passage of water vapour according to climate and humidity guarantees maximum protection for timber structures.
It is the ideal membrane for increasing the energy performance of packages and solutions for reconditioning existing structures: it can in fact be used with insulation from the inside of the building envelope, guaranteeing the structure total protection from the formation of interstitial condensation. Transparent, it is extremely easy to install.

Indicazioni di posa per: PARETE
CLIMA CONTROL 80 is laid parallel to the dock beam or the floor if laid on a wall. The second layer must be overlapped by at least 15 centimetres. Each layer must be fixed to the substrate with a mechanical fastener. (ex: HAMMER STAPLER, HAND STAPLER o PNEU STAPLER). It is also advisable to overlap the sheets by at least 30 centimetres at the butt joints. In order to achieve correct air and water sealing, we recommend the use of ALU BAND, SEAL BAND, EASY BAND, SPEEDY BAND, SOLID BAND, FLEXY BAND, SMART BAND, PLASTER BAND, DOUBLE BAND, SUPRA BAND, BUTYL BAND, MEMBRANE GLUE, SUPERB GLUE, ECO GLUE, FIRE SEALING, FIRE FOAM, FIRE STRIPE, FRONT BAND UV 222 or in the case of rough surfaces (such as rough OSB) FLEXI BAND, PRIMER SPAY, PRIMER .
Indicazioni di posa per: TETTO
CLIMA CONTROL 80 is placed parallel to the eaves line, starting from the lower edge of the roof. The second layer must be overlapped by at least 10-20 centimetres to the previous one (depending on the slope of the roof), as indicated on the layout according to UNI 11470:2013. The sheet must be applied on a continuous support with a mechanical fastening device. (ex: HAMMER STAPLER, HAND STAPLER o PNEU STAPLER). Once at the top of the roof, it is advisable for the membrane to protrude beyond the ridge line by at least 30 centimetres to ensure a perfect overlap with the strips of sheet that will overlap on the other side of the roof. It is also recommended that the sheets overlap by at least 30 cm even at the end joints. To achieve correct air and water sealing, we recommend the use of ALU BAND, SEAL BAND, EASY BAND, SPEEDY BAND, SOLID BAND, FLEXY BAND, SMART BAND, PLASTER BAND, DOUBLE BAND, SUPRA BAND, BUTYL BAND, MEMBRANE GLUE, SUPERB GLUE, ECO GLUE, FIRE SEALING, FIRE FOAM, FIRE STRIPE, FRONT BAND UV 222.If there is an integrated double adhesive strip, it can replace the correct air and water sealing.
