VAPOUR BARRIER SD 40 m
BARRIER NET SD40
The BARRIER NET SD40 vapour barrier is made of polyethylene, a material that strongly restricts the passage of vapour from the hot part to the cold part of the structure, limiting condensation problems. Thanks to its composition, it is not affected by mechanical stress or by staples and nails.
BARRIER NET SD40, the vapour barrier with SD 40 m value.
The BARRIER NET SD40 vapour barrier is transparent, for a simple, fast and safe installation. The reinforcing grid offers great resistance to the membrane, even in the event of pressure caused by the insulating material being blown, which could give rise to mechanical stresses that the reinforcing grid can compensate for; in this way, the membrane is always installed safely.

Indicazioni di posa per: TETTO
BARRIER NET SD40 is placed parallel to the eaves line, starting from the lower edge of the roof. The second layer must be overlapped by at least 10-20 centimetres to the previous one (depending on the slope of the roof), as indicated on the layout according to UNI 11470:2013. The sheet must be applied on a continuous support with a mechanical fastening device. (ex: HAMMER STAPLER, HAND STAPLER o PNEU STAPLER). Once at the top of the roof, it is advisable for the membrane to protrude beyond the ridge line by at least 30 centimetres to ensure a perfect overlap with the strips of sheet that will overlap on the other side of the roof. It is also recommended that the sheets overlap by at least 30 cm even at the end joints. To achieve correct air and water sealing, we recommend the use of ALU BAND, SEAL BAND, EASY BAND, SPEEDY BAND, SOLID BAND, FLEXY BAND, SMART BAND, PLASTER BAND, DOUBLE BAND, SUPRA BAND, BUTYL BAND, MEMBRANE GLUE, SUPERB GLUE, ECO GLUE, FIRE SEALING, FIRE FOAM, FIRE STRIPE, FRONT BAND UV 213.If there is an integrated double adhesive strip, it can replace the correct air and water sealing.
Indicazioni di posa per: PARETE
BARRIER NET SD40 is laid parallel to the dock beam or the floor if laid on a wall. The second layer must be overlapped by at least 15 centimetres. Each layer must be fixed to the substrate with a mechanical fastener. (ex: HAMMER STAPLER, HAND STAPLER o PNEU STAPLER). It is also advisable to overlap the sheets by at least 30 centimetres at the butt joints. In order to achieve correct air and water sealing, we recommend the use of ALU BAND, SEAL BAND, EASY BAND, SPEEDY BAND, SOLID BAND, FLEXY BAND, SMART BAND, PLASTER BAND, DOUBLE BAND, SUPRA BAND, BUTYL BAND, MEMBRANE GLUE, SUPERB GLUE, ECO GLUE, FIRE SEALING, FIRE FOAM, FIRE STRIPE, FRONT BAND UV 213 or in the case of rough surfaces (such as rough OSB) Insert TRADUCTION from IT FLEXI BAND, PRIMER SPAY, PRIMER .
