SELF-ADHESIVE BUTYL BAND, IT CAN BE PLASTERED

PROTECT

PROTECT is the self-adhesive butyl band that, thanks to the special mixture, guarantees excellent adhesion and deformation capacities, compensating for the natural movement of the timber.

Butyl provides excellent adhesion to substrates even in harsh environmental conditions, for top adhesion and workability even at low temperatures.

PROTECT, THE SELF-ADHESIVE, PLASTERABLE BUTYL BAND FOR YOUR PROJECTS

The PROTECT sheath is durable and thermally stable.

The non-woven polypropylene fabric means the support can be plastered, offering greater versatility of use.

It can be applied on various smooth building substrates such as timber, OSB boards without additional surface treatment. The surfaces must be dry, free of dust and solvents such as grease or oil. We recommend the use of PRIMER for rough surfaces such as rough OSB boards. After the separation film has been partially separated, the tape can be applied easily and precisely at the corner point without further corrections. The sealing is completed by separating the remaining film and adhering the tape to the support. Once the tape has been applied, it is recommended to use the special roller RLL45 to obtain a perfect application.
