A ladder for safely accessing the roof means a secure access to the roof

Within this prefabricated concrete building in Venice, it was necessary to ensure secure access to the roof to guarantee roof safety during maintenance activities.
The first step suggested by our consultants was the installation of the OVERLANE walkway, which allowed us to safely reach the lower part of the roof. However, when moving to the top of the roof, another element had to be taken into consideration: the impossibility of using wall fastening for safety devices.

A tailored system for the safety of roofs with structural constraints

In order to solve the issue, a system has been developed that combines the LADSTEP ladder with a modified OVERLANE walkway, both securely fixed at the base. This setup has ensured the perfect balance between stability and security, without the need for targeted interventions on the building structure.

The OVERLANE walkways provide safe paths on uneven or slippery surfaces. Made of embossed sheet metal, they ensure excellent non-slip grip.

The LADSTEP ladder is a modular system designed to ensure safe access at height. Made of aluminium alloy, it offer high mechanical resistance and resist corrosion and environmental conditions. The modular configuration allows for flexible and customised installation, adaptable to different design requirements.
